Oregon at Stanford

Oregon offense versus Stanford defense

• Offensively, Oregon is hitting on all cylinders. QB Jeremiah Masoli is doing a great job of conducting the read-option play, as is speedy and elusive RB LaMichael James. In addition, a once-inexperienced offensive line has developed into a cohesive unit and is doing a great job of covering up bodies. The Cardinal's front seven must play with extreme discipline to have any chance at slowing the Ducks' potent ground attack, especially on the edges. DEs Tom Keiser and Chase Thomas must do a good job of staying patient and diagnosing the play. The Ducks were able to expose and gash an undisciplined and overzealous USC front seven last week, and if the Cardinal fail to maintain strong gap control up front, we expect a similar story Saturday.
