USC at Oregon
USC offense vs. Oregon defense
• The Trojans have developed a strong one-two punch with RBs Joe McKnight and Allen Bradford. McKnight continues to gash opposing defenses with his vision, burst and ability to finish runs. However, it has been Bradford who has really come on for USC the past few weeks. The 235-pound back racked up 147 yards and two touchdowns last week against Oregon State. Bradford's combination of balance and power in between the tackles make him a load to bring down. They both benefit from an experienced and physical offensive line that gets an excellent initial surge and consistently covers up linebackers at the second level. This does not bode well for Oregon's defense, which lacks adequate size and strength up front. DT Brandon Bair is a liability holding up against the run at just 268 pounds and will have a tough time anchoring against a stout Trojans interior line. This should allow for an easier transition to the second level. Look for the Trojans to continue to find room on the ground and feed McKnight and Bradford for a combined 30-plus carries.
