Clemson offense vs. Miami defense
• Jamie Harper, the Tigers' 230-pound backup RB, is the thunder to starter C.J. Spiller's lightning when he's running downhill. The problem is that he doesn't always run downhill. He tries to bounce outside when he should just lower his shoulder and power ahead. On the flipside, LBs Colin McCarthy, Sean Spence and Darryl Sharpton have excellent closing speed and swarm to the football, so Harper can't get caught running east-west this week. Keep an eye on Parker in the passing game as well. Though he lacks the burst to separate from these linebackers, he's doing an excellent job of picking up the blitz.
