Georgia offense vs. Oklahoma State defense

Georgia enters the season trying to overcome the loss of two first-round draft picks in QB Matt Stafford and RB Knowshon Moreno. While the Bulldogs are expected to use a committee of running backs this year, talented redshirt sophomore Caleb King has a hamstring injury that could sideline him and is expected to at the very least limit him in this game. With that in mind, look for RB Richard Samuel to get plenty of work. The 216-pound Samuel is a tough, between-the-tackles runner who shows good patience and vision. He should do an excellent job of reading FB Shaun Chapas' lead blocks as well as his blocks up front. That doesn't bode well for Oklahoma State considering MLB Orie Lemon sustained a season-ending knee injury during Monday's practice. However, the Cowboys still have two quality run-stoppers in SLB Andre Sexton and WLB Patrick Lavine. In addition, look for defensive coordinator Bill Young to cheat FS Lucien Antoine and/or SS Markelle Martin up in certain situations.
