Wake Forest offense vs. Navy defense
Wake Forest's inability to run the ball effectively when these two teams met earlier this year forced QB Riley Skinner to shoulder the bulk of the offensive load and he clearly pressed. Skinner threw into coverage far too much and finished with four picks. With that in mind, establishing a more balanced attack is important for the Demon Deacons. The problem is that's easier said than done. While RB Brandon Pendergrass played well down the stretch and backup Josh Adams provides good depth, the front five hasn't played particularly well and preventing penetration has been a problem.
