Oklahoma State Offense vs. Indiana Defense
The Hoosiers have had six weeks to prepare a struggling defense to face a potent Oklahoma State offense, which is led by the outstanding trio of QB Zac Robinson, RB Dantrell Savage and WR Adarius Bowman. Savage has a quick burst, displays great vision and is a slippery runner who is difficult to wrap up. He's averaging 5.9 yards per carry and now has nine straight games with 100 yards or more rushing. Indiana can't key on Savage either because Robinson set the schools' single-season total offense mark with 3,299 yards including 777 on the ground. Savage and Robinson will look for the majority of their yards behind the left side of their line where All Big-12 linemen OT Russell Okung and OG David Koenig reside. Meanwhile, Indiana has allowed an average of 155.42 yards rushing per game. As a result, WLB Will Patterson and MLB Adam McClurg, who have combined for 193 tackles, need to turn in strong performances. The Hoosiers will continue to drop their leading tackler safety Austin Thomas to get an extra defender in run support.
