It typically does not take long for the "haves" to separate themselves from the "have-nots" in college football. Highly touted teams such as Oklahoma, Michigan, Iowa, Purdue, Auburn, Louisville and Georgia Tech already have been undressed, and we are not yet into October.

Currently, 26 of the 119 Division I-A football programs boast an undefeated record. Through no fault of their own, some of those unbeaten teams are being accompanied by runaway hype machines. But this weekend's slate of games sets the stage for a multitude of overhyped exposures.

Here's a look at eight schools that should prepare for a bubble-bursting this weekend:
