Each week there are performances that catch my eye by players who are eligible for the 2006 draft. In the Oklahoma-Tulsa game, everyone might have been focused on the Sooners' Adrian Peterson (who isn't eligible for the draft), but there were two other players who really stood out and made an impact.

Boston College has a wide receiver who is making the transition from defense to offense look rather easy, while Notre Dame kept Michigan's top receiver out of the end zone and walked out of the Big House with a win.

Even though the 2005 college football season is just two weeks old, there have been several noteworthy performances by players who might not be household names, but it will be worth charting their progress. I will also pay attention to those players who have yet to live up to preseason expectations.
