Big Ten linebackers highlight top five
Memphis running back DeAngelo Williams may have dropped on Mel's Big Board, but not for the reason you might think.

The Big Board has changed a lot in large part to some impressive first-week performances. What you see here is reflective of week-to-week action which is why the board is very fluid, as evidenced by eight new names on in the Top 25.
Maryland linebacker D'Qwell Jackson had a great effort against Navy last week, while UTEP LB Thomas Howard was phenomenal against New Mexico. D'Angelo Williams dropped a little bit, but keep in mind Memphis lost its quarterback in the first series against Ole Miss and the offensive line didn't do a good job of moving defenders off the line. Williams rushing total might be down this year but that has nothing to do with his ability.
