Texas has the weapons to tame the Trojans

For the final eight bowl games, there are more tough questions than easy answers. For example, will Virginia Tech bounce back with the same fire it had after its loss to Miami? If so, a soft Louisville team could be in trouble. Will Auburn play with the same intensity it does against SEC opponents? If so, Wisconsin's Barry Alvarez will go out on a sour note.

Can Charlie Weis hide the flaws in Notre Dame's defense by keeping it off the field while Brady Quinn nickels and dimes the Ohio State defense? Can Ohio State's Jim Tressel outcoach Weis?

And the big question: Can Texas slow down the USC offense? Ranked second nationally, and by far the best defense USC has seen all year, Texas will slow down the Trojans and wind up controlling the game with its talented offensive line.
