Edison (Huntington Beach, Calif.) lost a lot of talent in its senior class this season. The program, however, returns a legit Division I prospect in elite defensive end Charles Burks. Burks was among the top pass-rushers in the state last year. He had 52 tackles and 14 sacks during the regular season but broke his leg in the Chargers' first-round game and had to sit out the rest of the playoffs. Edison, the top-ranked team in the state at the time, still made it to the CIF Championship but lost to eventual state champion Servite.
