Junior receiver Jacob Bennett (Houston, Texas/Klein Collins) is one of three highly touted prospects in the 2011 class at Klein Collins. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Bennett came into the season as a virtual unknown after moving in from Alabama. After a productive season as a receiver and spot running back, the nephew of former NFL defensive lineman Cornelius Bennett is seeing his stock rise with a handful of offers on the table. "Besides Baylor and Nebraska, I have been offered by Texas Tech, Missouri and Kansas State," said Bennett. "Oregon, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and TCU are also recruiting me hard, but haven't offered," Bennett has been invited to a number of junior days, but hasn't been able to attend. He plans to attack the unofficial visit process after the conclusion of the school year.
