Two of northeast Ohio's top defensive backs will be on display Friday when Solon hosts Akron Buchtel, and one of those backs will be using that game as a measuring stick for his own ability. Solon junior cornerback Darian Hicks, one of the top juniors in Ohio, will be watching Buchtel senior safety Jarrod Wilson very closely. Wilson, who will also line up across Hicks as a receiver, is committed to Michigan. Hicks and the rest of the Solon defense is coming off a shutout of overmatched Worthington Kilbourne last weekend. Hicks wasn't tested but made his presence felt on a few tackles.
