Signing day isn't only for the seniors. A junior can learn a lot from it. Case in point: Stefon Diggs (Olney, Md./Good Councel), who is racking up the offers but learned a little from watching this year's class handle national signing day.
"I have offers from California, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Florida and Virginia," said the 6-foot, 175-pound athlete. "I really can't name any favorites right now. I learned a lot yesterday from signing day. I'm going to take my time with this and do my homework.
"I've had some schools tell me they are recruiting me as a wide receiver and other say defensive back. I like both positions. Maybe I can be a Charles Woodson type and play on both sides of the ball in college.
