Illinois really interested in David Perkins

David Perkins (South Bend, Ind./Washington) is a 2012 prospect that shined at the Chicago Under Armour combine. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete could either be a wide receiver or safety at the next level. Perkins transferred to Washington from Central High School in Kalamazoo, Mich., but the colleges have found him rather easily. Ohio University has already offered the junior a scholarship. "Louisville, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Nebraska, Indiana, Pittsburgh and Central Michigan are showing the most interest right now," said Perkins. "Illinois has shown the most interest out of those schools and they are talking about moving me to linebacker." How has Perkins adjusted to a new school, new teammates and a new head coach?
