Jarrell Williams (Oak Lawn, Ill./Richards) is one of the top cornerback prospects in the Midwest and he has already given Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald his verbal commitment. "Last year, I went to Northwestern to watch them play Minnesota. I was with my mom and my little cousin. Before the game we were all in coach Fitzgerald's office and he told me that he liked what he saw on film and that he wanted to offer me a full scholarship," said the 5-foot-10, 175-pounder. "To be able to play in the Big Ten for a great coach, a great school and close to home is a dream come true for me." It seems all this was possible because of the confidence Williams' head coach had in him when he was a sophomore.
