Cornerback Trevon Stewart (Patterson, La./Patterson) is leaving the Bayou State for Texas, as this three-star athlete committed to Houston.

"I actually committed to the Cougars [Saturday] after their camp," Stewart said. "I had a feeling for a while now that I was going to commit to Houston but I wanted to see how camp was and how their coaches were. I really liked how they treat everyone and the players. Stewart, 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds, missed three games last season because of a high ankle sprain but still managed 110 tackles and three interceptions.
