Chester Brown (Hinesville, Ga./Bradwell Institute) was true to his word. He said after Dawg Night last Friday that he was going to speak with his parents first before making a decision. Brown wanted to talk with mom and dad about his new Bulldog offer.
"The conversation with my parents happened today", Brown said. "It was my brother, uncle and parents. I told them I had a full ride from Georgia and this is what I want to do. My parents were waiting on this moment and they told me to take it and run with it. So then I called Coach [Mark] Richt and he was surprised. I don't think he believed me that I would ever call him back. I was true to my word because I had to discuss it with my parents."
When you speak with the 6-foot-5 and 332-pound offensive guard prospect you can hear the excitement in his voice. He can't wait to get up to Athens.
