Syracuse picked up its 16th commitment from two-way star Dontez Ford (Mckees Rock, Pa./Sto-Rox). "The main thing with me and my commitment to Syracuse was that Syracuse provides an environment engineering degree and I can play football at a high level," Ford said, who carries a 4.0 grade point average. "Of all the schools I was looking at Syracuse had the most to offer." Another big reason why Ford selected Syracuse over Vanderbilt, Princeton and Northwestern was the Orange coaching staff.
