Syracuse is a team that likes to recruit the Sunshine State and over the holiday weekend it picked up its second commitment from Florida. This one is from safety Julian Wigham (West Palm Beach/Dwyer). "I have always been a fan of the Orange," Wigham said. "I was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and I have always loved all the New York teams, especially Syracuse. They have a great staff and I love Coach [Scott] Shafer and Coach [Doug] Marrone. They are great to be around. I was up there for camp and it felt like being a part of a family. Committing to Syracuse just felt right to me." Wigham, 6-foot-1 and 172 pounds, plays safety in high school but could play cornerback at Syracuse.
