Has Alabama found its next Terrence Cody? Maybe. The Crimson Tide received a commitment fromDarren Lake (York, Ala./Sumter County). Lake, 6-foot-3 and 325 pounds, plays nose guard.
"I sure hope I can be the next Cody," Lake said. "I am strong. I am very strong and more of a run stopper. I am quick, too, and very deceptive with my speed and quickness on the football field."
Lake says he committed to Alabama over Auburn and Tennessee.
