Auburn just got a little more dangerous on offense as the Tigers landed one of the nation's most coveted athletes in ESPNU 150 member Ricky Parks (Hoganville, Ga./Callaway). Parks, 6-feet-4 and 230 pounds, projects as a tight end for the national champions, as he committed to Auburn over Georgia and Alabama on Friday. "It came down to Auburn being one big family and me having just a great relationship with all the coaches for the Tigers," Parks said. "You can get a great education at Auburn and that was very important to me as well. I love the academic support you can get there. Plus, Auburn is close to home which is great for me and my family, especially if they need me. Now I will only be 45 minutes to an hour away." This wasn't an easy decision for the nation's No. 73 overall prospect. It has been a Tiger, Crimson Tide and Bulldog battle for a while. Parks was looking for one team to pull ahead. He had stated recently that he felt comfortable at all three schools and he loved each offense. So how did Auburn get that edge over Alabama and Georgia?
