The recruiting beat continues in Tallahassee, as the Florida State Seminoles landed another huge commitment -- literally -- in massive offensive tackle prospect Alphonse Taylor (Mobile, Ala./Davidson). "I tell you what, Alphonse is 6-6 and 360 pounds right now," Fred Riley said, Davidson's head football coach for the past eight seasons. "He runs 5.2 at that size and does the agility in 5.0. He could potentially be an All-American left tackle at FSU and possibly be in the NFL. Alphonse is that kind of player." For Taylor, it came down to Florida State and Alabama. In the end, he just felt more comfortable with the 'Noles.
