Four-star LB Kent Turene (Sunrise, Fla./Boyd Anderson) says he remains committed to Southern Cal, despite numerous reports that he will sign with the University of Georgia after visiting this past weekend. "It was a great visit to Georgia," Turene said. "I love the environment in Athens, on campus and within the football program. Their new facilities are awesome. I love the people there as well. It was a great visit. But I am still committed to USC." Turene was also scheduled to visit the University of Tennessee coming off the Georgia trip, but never made it to Knoxville and it doesn't look like he will visit the Vols at all. Instead, Turene will officially visit Texas Tech this weekend for his final trip. "I am still considering Georgia, Texas Tech and Nebraska," Turene said. "I have already been to see the Cornhuskers. I will make my final decision on signing day, likely sometime in the afternoon."
