Coach Brian Kellyand Notre Dame's coaching staff played host to a huge junior day on Saturday.
It was a junior day that paid immediate dividends as defensive lineman Brad Carrico (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman) committed before leaving South Bend on Saturday. The 6-foot-6, 270-pounder picked Notre Dame over scholarship offers from Cincinnati, West Virginia, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Purdue and a few others.
"I picked Notre Dame for many reasons, but the most important being that I felt very comfortable around the coaching staff and have a great relationship with all of them," Carrico said in a text message.
