The battle for the Midwest's top 2010 prospect was between linebacker Jordan Hicks (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) and offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham). Hicks, who signed with Texas, ended up as the No. 4 prospect on the ESPNU 150. Henderson, who has committed to USC but has not yet signed, finished as the No. 8 prospect on the ESPNU 150.

The battle for the Midwest's top 2011 prospect at this point might be between quarterback Braxton Miller (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne) and linebacker Lawrence Thomas (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance).

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Miller has almost three dozen scholarship offers. Miller's list includes Ohio State, USC, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Tennessee.
