Florida International made history Friday with its first victory over a BCS school (Louisville) and capped off the weekend with a commitment from wide receiver Jeremy Smith (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Flanagan).
"I felt like it was the right place for me," Smith said. "It's close to home and close to my family."
Smith said the victory over Louisville and the recent run of success for the program played a huge part in his commitment.
