The Miami Central Rockets had to replace 21 starters from last season's state championship team and with 13 of the 21 players signing scholarships with FBS programs it's safe to say Central lost a lot of talent. But Friday's 33-14 victory over Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) showed that the cupboard is anything but bare. Class of 2014 running back Joseph Yearby could be as good as his predecessors Devonta Freeman and Derrick Gainer. Another sophomore, Dalvin Cook scored on an 80-yard run in the second half. Defensive back Donaldven Manning (Virginia Tech commit) and linebacker Brian Nicholson (Minnesota commit) are studs on defense. And the fact the Rockets did their damage on Dwyer through the running game shows they are as big and nasty up front as last year.
