Although three-star athlete MacGarrett Kings (Davie, Fla./University School) didn't really "catch on" to Michigan State football until last season, the first impression the Spartans program made in his mind was obviously a good one.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder committed to Michigan State on Wednesday after a visit to the campus.
"It was a real nice place but I just enjoy the relationships I built with the coaches and the way the players and coaches interact with each other," Kings said. "Everyone's on the same page and there's a lot of camaraderie in the program."
