For four-star athlete Marcus Maye (Melbourne, Fla./Holy Trinity Episcopal), it was simple formula that put Florida as his clear leader: comfort and familiarity.
"The fact that I've been up there numerous times and have a great relationship with the coaches is what puts them out front," said Maye, 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. "I'm excited about the upcoming future of the program and I feel like they are going to have a pretty good year."
Maye is also excited about the prospects of playing in the SEC.
