Rising senior athlete Jimmy Threat (Pensacola, Fla./Pensacola) had to hit the road to get his name out this offseason. And after several Under Armour, Nike and National Underclassmen Camps, the 5-foot-9, 190-pounder is starting to get some good looks and finally received his first official offer. "Last week Western Michigan came through and offered me," Threat said. "I hadn't heard from them lately but I knew they liked my film and were interested so it wasn't a total surprise." Threat's busy offseason received plenty of notice when he ran under 4.6 in the 40 during the Mobile Nike combine; add that with his 2010 production (over 1,100 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns) and the recruitment has picked up considerably.
