Despite missing his junior year with a broken ankle, this could be a prosperous spring season for wide receiver Brandon Brooks (Jacksonville, Fla./First Coast). Being part of a roster that includes several players with BCS offers, every practice at First Coast should have several college scouts in attendance and that means several opportunities for the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder to show he's healthy. "Right now he's doing great, [Brandon] is probably at about 95 percent," said his father Alvin Brooks. "He's had a personal trainer for two months and he's very determined, very committed and just looking forward to getting back on the field and competing next week."
