For Gunnar Holcombe (Davie, Fla./University School) to get the most out of his opportunity to play quarterback for his senior season, he had to make some tough decisions.
And this week the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder decided to stop playing baseball.
"I need to be focused on football and it wasn't fair to anyone for me to continue playing if I plan on playing football at the next level," Holcombe said. "The throwing motions were also straining my arm quite a bit."
