John Theus checks out Florida

March, 22, 2011
Watch List offensive lineman John Theus (Jacksonville, Fla./Bolles) took a visit to Florida this weekend to check out a spring practice and came away impressed.

"I really liked it there and I really liked the new coaching staff," Theus said via text message.

Theus has also visited Georgia several times and the Bulldogs are considered a favorite to land the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder since his brother, Nathan, signed with Georgia's Class of 2011. Theus says he remains open and is leaning towards SEC schools along with Florida State.

He doesn't plan on attending any spring games this year.
