Defensive end Trenton Taylor (Lakeland, Fla./Lake Gibson) decided to hit both ends of the state over the holiday weekend before deciding that Miami was his ideal destination. The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder traveled to Florida on Friday with his mother and then to FSU's junior day on Saturday. The trip finished with Miami on Sunday and soon after Taylor decided to commit to the Hurricanes. "When Trent first came here it seemed like Miami was the place he wanted to go," said Lake Gibson head coach Keith DeMyer. "He wanted to be there and he wanted to be the first player from this program to ever go there. Still it was a surprise to me that he did it this weekend, I didn't see that one coming."
