If you caught a Miami Northwestern game or 7-on-7 event in the past two years you might have gotten a look at quarterback Elgin Hilliard from time to time. Sometimes Hilliard would be playing quarterback, while starter Teddy Bridgewater was at receiver or safety, but now that Bridgewater is off to Louisville, it's Hilliard show to run and the rising senior will have one season to show off everything he's learned. "I learned a lot from Teddy over the years," Hilliard said. "I really learned how important character is and being mentally tough. Teddy was always able to bounce back from upsets, bad games or even bad practices."
