Time to breakdown the seven Florida colleges and how they fared on national signing day.

Florida State Seminoles

Top five prospects: Karlos Williams, S (Davenport, Fla./Ridge Community), Nick O' Leary, TE (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Dwyer), Tim Jernigan, DT (Lake City, Fla./Columbia), Bobby Hart, OL (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas), Devonta Freeman, RB (Miami, Fla./Central)
ESPNU 150 prospects: 12
Late surprise: Tre Jackson, OL (Jesup, Ga./Wayne County)
Biggest miss: Tony Steward, LB (St. Augustine, Fla./Menendez), who signed with Clemson.
Overview: It's a star-studded class with 22 in-state prospects (out of 29 total signees). FSU hit on most of its targets and got stronger on both lines. Could have easily listed top 15 prospects.

Florida Gators

Top five prospects: Jeff Driskel, QB (Oviedo, Fla./Hagerty), Ja'Juan Story, WR (Brooksville, Fla./Nature Coast Tech), Mike Blakely, RB (Bradenton, Fla./Manatee), Marcus Roberson, DB (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas), Jabari Gorman, DB (Miami, Fla./Monsignor Pace)
ESPNU 150 prospects: 7
Late surprise: Roberson
Biggest miss: Curt Maggitt, LB (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Dwyer), who signed with Tennessee
Overview: A top-heavy class that will need the players with star potential to produce. The ranking of No. 12 in the country might be a little generous.
