With the news that Robert Marve was named Purdue's starting quarterback, it starts the turnaround for the 2006 Mr. Florida Football and continues the pipeline of Florida prospects becoming Boilermakers. Since 2006, Marve has had an up-and-down college career. He has gone from the Miami Hurricanes' savior, to redshirt freshman at Miami, to Jacory Harris' backup, to Boilermakers' redshirt and now Purdue's starting signal caller. Purdue coach Danny Hope and his staff have become major players in Florida recruiting. More than 70 percent of Purdue's 2009 class was Florida prospects -- the fourth highest percentage in the nation, just behind Florida Atlantic, Florida International and South Florida. Purdue's Class of 2010 included nine players from the Sunshine State.
