Quarterback Justin Shafer (Lake Wales, Fla./Lake Wales) remains solidly committed to Florida to play baseball, despite several offers, according to his father and coach Rod Shafer. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder could have several major offers to play football at his disposal, but many of his potential suitors want him to give up baseball. Shafer would like to play both. "It's going to be tough because the major programs see what happened with Clemson and Kyle Parker," Rod Shafer said. "They don't want to get burned so they don't want him to play baseball."
