ESPNU 150 defensive end Ryan Shazier (Plantation, Fla./Plantation) has been piling up the offers over the spring and remains open to a list that includes Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, Michigan, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Rutgers. However, two schools are currently of particular interest to the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder for completely different reasons -- USC and Nebraska. When Shazier trims his list down to a top five it was expected that the Trojans had a great shot at getting an official visit, but with the news of a two-year postseason ban and a loss of 10 scholarships for three years, those plans might be changing. Shazier was admittedly shocked when he was informed of the NCAA punishment.
