Quarterback Kyle McDorman (Niceville, Fla./Niceville) still has a few more days of spring to finish the transition from playing baseball to football, but after Niceville's spring game next week he'll be back to playing both sports over the summer. "I think he's 50-50 on which sport he wants to continue to do after high school," said Niceville football coach John Hicks. "He likes both sports and he's talented at both sports." The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder was the triggerman for the state's most explosive offense in 2009, throwing for 2,056 yards and 30 touchdowns. Despite having the prototypical frame for a pro-style passer, Hicks says that McDorman's athleticism is underrated.
