Heading into national signing day, there were some questions about several prospects who were considering Big Ten schools but had yet to decide. Here's how those battles played out. Linebacker Curtis Grant (Richmond, Va./Hermitage) was one of those prospects. Grant, the No. 46 prospect on the ESPNU 150, waited until Wednesday afternoon to announce he had selected Ohio State over scholarship offers from Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Grant announced his decision and signed his National Letter of Intent live on ESPNU. Joe Paterno was hoping to get good news from defensive back Adrian Amos (Towson, Md./Calvert Hall) on Wednesday and did when Amos committed to Penn State over scholarship offers from West Virginia and Connecticut.
