Defensive back Dondi Kirby (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) did not play a down of football his senior season. Kirby tore the ACL in his left knee in mid-June and had surgery on July 26. However, his rehabilitation went very well and Kirby will soon begin taking official visits. "I'm good now," Kirby said. "The rehab is over. It's all on me now. I started running three months after the surgery and it usually takes four months. I'm about 75- to 80-percent back. I'll be able to play baseball in the spring."
