Jadeveon Clowney (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe), the No. 1 prospect in the country, is one of the most talented defensive end prospects to come along in the past few years. "(Clowney) probably has 40 to 50 FBS offers," South Pointe coach Bobby Carroll said. "He has the two in-state schools, Clemson and South Carolina. He has all the big boys, Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Miami, he's still considering them all." Ohio State is the newcomer to the party having started to make its push in the middle of September. Carroll said Clowney is listening to the Buckeyes' pitch, though recruiting is not his main focus at this point.
