It didn't take junior offensive lineman Kyle Kalis (Lakewood, Ohio/St. Edward's) long to commit to Ohio State.

"I committed tonight," Kalis said late Friday night. "I got the offer (Thursday). I've been thinking about Ohio State a lot. I thought about it all day (Friday). Then me and my family sat down and talked about it at dinner. We decided on Ohio State."

Kalis picked the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Wisconsin and Pitt. Many other schools had been showing strong interest including Notre Dame and West Virginia. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Kalis played right tackle during his sophomore season. After moving into the starting line-up a couple games into the season he had over 70 knockdown blocks.

Kalis is the third 2012 prospect to commit to Ohio State joining running back Warren Ball (Columbus, Ohio/DeSales) and linebacker Josh Perry (Olentangy, Ohio/Olentangy).
