There isn't much doubt Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez is one of the college coaches on the hot seat as the season approaches and there is plenty of speculation regarding how many games the Wolverines will need to win in 2010 for Rodriguez to stay in Ann Arbor. All of which does not make recruiting any easier. So far Rodriguez has held his own, though the results have not been spectacular. Michigan's class certainly falls behind the class Jim Tressel is assembling for his Ohio State program to this point. Rodriguez has missed out on the top two prospects in-state as ESPNU 150 wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett (Saginaw, Mich./Saginaw) has narrowed his choices down to six schools and Michigan is not one of the six and ESPNU 150 linebacker and Under Armour All-American Lawrence Thomas (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance) committed to Michigan State over Michigan and many others.
