Three-star defensive back Eilar Hardy (Pickerington, Ohio/Central) has committed to Notre Dame over an impressive list of scholarship offers that includes Michigan State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, Maryland, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Minnesota, Indiana and Colorado. "He just committed to Notre Dame," Hardy's father Bill Hardy said. "I think he has talked to all of the Notre Dame coaches except Coach (Brian) Kelly. He might be on the phone with him right now. But it's official." Hardy, 6-foot, 175 pounds, played safety during his junior season and made 75 tackles with three interceptions as Central finished with a 10-2 record. Hardy played safety and cornerback during his sophomore season and made 85 tackles and intercepted three passes as Central made it to the Division I state semifinals and finished with a 13-1 record.
