On Wednesday Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez offered a scholarship to two more prospects from the state of Ohio, ESPNU 150 Watch List tight end Nick Vannett (Westerville, Ohio/Central) and defensive end/tight end Austin Traylor (Columbus, Ohio/Walnut Ridge). Vannett also received offers from Penn State and North Carolina State on Monday. The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder has 30-plus scholarship offers. In addition to the three schools that offered this week, his list includes Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Oregon, Iowa, Purdue, Pitt, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, South Florida, Virginia Tech, Arizona, West Virginia, Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, Northwestern and Kentucky. "I have a list of about 10 to 12 schools I'm really looking at. Ohio State obviously, Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Pitt, South Florida, I'd say Oregon and Purdue," said Vannett. "I'm going to try to start taking some trips. I'll try to get to as many of them as I can. Hopefully by the time July rolls around I'll have my decision."
