Dantonio hosts elite in-state prospects

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio welcomed in a talented group of recruits on Saturday for the Spartans' spring game, including several of the top in-state prospects on Dantonio's list. The No. 1 prospect in the state of Michigan, linebacker Lawrence Thomas (Detroit/Renaissance), attended the game. The Spartan commit would love to see several in-state prospects, who were also in East Lansing for the Green and White game, eventually join him at Michigan State including wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett (Saginaw, Mich./Saginaw). Arnett is the No. 2 overall prospect in the state of Michigan and has close to two dozen scholarship offers. His list includes Michigan State, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Iowa, Purdue and Oregon.
