This will be the 10th full Saturday of college football action; as November arrives, it's all about the non-AQs this weekend.
The battle in Salt Lake City
The TCU Horned Frogs visit the Utah Utes in a battle of the two top teams in the Mountain West, and two teams ranked in the top five of the latest BCS standings. "College GameDay" will be there and a lot of eyes will be taking a long look at two upstart teams that haven't been in the spotlight much this season till this point. Right now, what most folks can tell is just how statistically dominant both have been this season.
The Horned Frogs, who lead the nation in scoring and total defense, have given up an astounding 16 points in five conference games. They played five games in October and no one scored more than a TD on them. The Utes are No. 3 in the country in scoring offense and sixth in scoring defense.
Put it this way: There are 17 official team stat categories the NCAA keeps track of. TCU or Utah lead the Mountain West in 13 of them.
